- After winning the Eastern Region and the Eastern Section Championship
of the PRR System,
- they played the Columbus, Ohio club at Shibe Park. Upon winning
that game,
- they became the 1921 PRR System Champs.

- In 1916, J.M. Symes was hired as a clerk and a baseball player for the
PRR on the
- Pittsburgh Division. He went on to become the President of the
PRR from June1, 1954
- to November 1, 1959.
