Restoration of PRR 5809 class EP22.

The Philadelphia Chapter of the PRRT&HS expresses its sincere thanks to Bennett Levin
for granting his permission to publish the restoration process of PRR 5809.

This is the last photo shoot in the PRR 5809 restoration series.   Today, Sunday October 8, 2000, Juniata Terminal Company officially out shopped the PRR 5809.

The November issue of Railpace Magazine will present a photo feature and article by news editor Carl G. Perelman.

I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Bennett Levin and the Juniata Terminal employees for their effort and hard work in restoring the PRR 5809.

On Sunday morning, Juniata Terminal Company out shopped the PRR 5809.

Seated here is Bennett Levin as we moved PRR 5809 out into Fairhill Yard and onto Conrail for a run by.

I was lucky to get this shot.  As I turned to reposition for another shot, Amtrak flew by.

Watch for photos and story in the November issue of Railpace magazine.  News editor Carl Perelman was also on hand at today's photo shot.
The day would not be complete without a 120 photo.
Here is Machinist Al Hillman who was last seen posing with the NS 1000 on July 27.
