The door on the right is an "after market fabrication".  Original EMD design door on left is reclaimed Burlington Northern material.

Painter Bob Fee continues his work to the Bulldog nose.

Prior accident damage requires a considerable amount of fiberglass and body fill.

Fiberglass applied to door frame.

The Engineers side of the nose sustained the most damage.

When all is completed, the plastic and fiberglass will be nothing more than a surface coat on the steel plate.

The body fill is required to give the nose its' smooth look.  It is necessary to fill al the welds, seams and imperfections in the steel.
